If I wanted to point someone to Steve Roach's music, I'd start them here. This record spans some of Roach's signature styles, like the percolating synths in "Currents of Compassion", the dreamy abstraction of "Prometheus Passage", the tribal rhythms of "The Gone Place", and the elegiac majesty of "What Remains". It's stunning all around and guaranteed to make any day better. fyeahmetal
Claudio Caro
Right from the first sound you hear, to the last note - this album will transport you to a natural place. I cannot put into words how this album has been such a huge help. It’s like a friend now - like someone who is always there. An amazing album that everyone should own. Thanks so much, Robert. darkstarr666
Minimalist compositions that take their time unfolding, bands of sound melting glacier-like from one end of the song to the other. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 6, 2023
Minimal, blippy synth music from Pabellón Sintético that feels like blinking lights on an old computer sounding off in melody. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 21, 2023
Choosing a favorite album by Forrest Fang is a little bit like choosing a favorite child, I mean, you love them all in their own way, right?
Each of his albums has a particular charm and appeal, but if pressed I would suggest that "The Sleepwalker's Ocean" is a particularly high spot in his catalog, taking the listener on a fantastic musical journey, a trip through undiscovered soundscapes and new musical horizons.
It's a trip that's well worth taking if you haven't already... rikm
